Marina Harvey
Marina Harvey is an academic developer who uses Participatory Action Research to investigate sessional staff issues which she has researched for the past decade, including evaluating the CLASS project and leading the OLT funded BLASST project. The BLASST project developed evidenced-based national standards for enhancing quality learning and teaching with sessional staff.
Vanessa Fredericks
Vanessa Fredericks has been a sessional staff member at Macquarie University for over 6 years. During that time she has had various roles, including program research and development officer for the Learning and Teaching Centre, and a casual tutor in Media and Cultural Studies. She first became involved with the BLASST project as events manager for the BLASST National Leadership Summit in 2013.
